    is it not a case of

    post 1 'SRAM bottom brackets are rubbish'
    post 2 'Their chains have also been a bit dodge for me, but they're cassettes have always been fine'

    i.e. a slight divergence but into the related area of general SRAM quality as opposed to the specific quality of their bottom brackets.

    I got that far with it but it got all bonkers after that.

    Ive a GXP sram Apex (2 months) and had a few noises out of it - its all greased up & the likes...reading this thread has, lets say, 'opened my eyes'...' lol

    Those noises; I just put them down to general wear n tear...

    I'll ride with my fingers crossed ;)

    Brought a brand new sram bb for truvative noir crank in january Replaced it last month as it was wobbling already thats less than 4 month's use and there new gutterseal technology...

    I now have a hope 1 purely because a new sram 1 every 4 months works out the same price.
