Handle bar adjustment

Thinking of droping the height of my bars but was wondering if its just a matter of taking out a few spacers to drop the height or if I will need to do any sawing!!

You just take off the stem from the steerer, remove the spacer, replace the stem without the spacer and then put the spacer on top of the stem
