No bacon here either, I do have a nice lemon muffin though

I'm hoping to get through today fuelled by the power of starbucks, very sleepy today and no day off until a week today.

My leg is really red and blotchy too after yesterdays triple pike dismount into holly and nettles at kinver

Anyway enough moaning for now. Byesebyes

    Good Morning Freaks!

And may the Fourth be with you...

Again, a stupidly strong headwind on the way into work. Starting to get really annoyed with it now... :(

In other news, I have a bacon and cheese roll ready for consumption, to be accompanied by a nice coffee.

Starting to get on top of my work now, so some slacking may be possible this afternoon.

    Laters...

    Morning Young Padiwans!

Today I shall be working, I just know it's going to get busy. Boooo.

I'm looking at MacBook Pro's, trying to figure out how I can afford one. I'm so close with the money, but not quite there yet

I think I'm going to eat a twix as there is no baconage worth eating in this building (seriously, the quality of dead pigs this place buys is shocking. I'm guessing they buy it from a place where the pig died of natural causes!)

    Yo maggots..

Today I am working from home, so win...
Also, need to arrange my study desk to fit the new 27" iMac I treated myself to last week, it's been in the box for almost 10 days.. no idea where/how everything's going to fit!
I have an afternoon appointment a few miles from home and the weather's so damned nice I may just sneak out to Cannock Chase later.. or go for a 5 mile run, I'll decide closer to the time

The master's not very happy this morning and minions are forming a rebel alliance.

Or as I like to put it, I've been given s**t loads of work to do by yesterday and the belmers in the office have all f**ked off out and none of them are answering their phones.

Still, can't complain, sun's out and I can see a little wren sitting on the rail outside my window.

    Morning all.

I've resigned from my job and am taking some time off work until at least next year. Will be a free man by late July - roll on 8)

I'm trying to convince people at my work not to buy the 27" iMacs. They're way too big for our needs. I'm trying to point out that for health and safety reasons, we can't afford big enough desks (you're meant to be sat 1m away from a 26" monitor).

Why do Apple get rid of decent things like the 24" iMac? grrr

Still, I want a MacBook Pro. I will get one eventually...

  • Does anyone happen to know anything about German contract law? Seriously...I don't think I want to be a translator any more.

Time for copious amounts of bacons methinks.

I assume you must be in DTP or similar to justify one of those for work use..

Sorry I lied, they gave me a 24" one to upgrade the slightly smaller one I had. It just looks huge on this stupid desk (that's what she said).

And no, not in DTP, university admin in a design department so they assume you would want an imac as it's a design department and everyone loves macs.

Afternoon all! Well I have been busy at work today, typical when I get sod all sleep
No bacons and still off my food....concerned I may be heading toward a wellness fail!
Climbing tonight, although a nasty cut to my hand may cut my session short :(
Ride it like you stole it!
  • Well i've got one of the new mac book pro's (2.0 Ghz Quad core i7 processor) all the bells and whistles and i don't think i'm ever going back to a stationary computer let alone a pc.
I've been into collage handed my finished music project back and now i'm getting ready to go riding :D
Get a mac book pro, you won't regret it
    GT Zaskar mmmmm yummy!

What if your dreams and fears existed in the same place? What if to get to heaven, you had to brave hell? What if everything you've ever wanted cost you everything you've ever achieved? Would you still go there?
  • Although translating contract law into German has been killing me for the last few days, it appears mountain biking has saved me.

Looking for example contracts I stumble upon this gem from Syntace. Turns out thru-axles are the future...
