Norco snapped frame (again) any advice?

My son (weighs 50kg) has just snapped his Norco Faze 3 frame on the rear, just above the disc brake mount for the second time in three months!!!!! anyone eles experienced issues with these frames breaking? no signs of abuse to the bike / wheels etc - looks like a clear case of weak component / shoddy build? please advise Mac

Get them to replace it with a different bike. They will probably gladly give you a stronger one so they don't have to keep fixing it.Why would I care about 150g of bike weight, I just ate 400g of cookies while reading this?0

Spoke to the importer today, I am going to strip & send them the frame directly, they are intimating that they will replace the full frame under warranty, as you suggest, I have requested a stronger frame
