Felt Sizing Help Please

Hi all

Looking at getting a new Felt road frame but not sure with there sizing. I'm 6ft 3/4 with a 34" inside leg and I'm not sure what frame size to buy, either 60cm or 63cm

Ive ridden Trek before, 60cm and that felt a tad to small but was fine to ride and then I've also had a XL Giant (58.5cm) and that felt fine but maybe could have had a slightly smaller stem.

Anyone any ideas?

I'm 6'3" with a 35" inside leg and bought a 61cm Felt Curbside last Autumn. My road bike is 58cm and a good fit but when I looked at the Felt's geometry it looked quite small for the quoted size, hence buying a 61cm frame. The 61cm Felt is fine for me, I think the smaller size would have been small with a lot of seatpost showing.

Might seem like stating the obvious (I'm sure you have - but just in case) have you checked out their website. It has guide sizing on there etc etc.

At just over six foot - I'm going to be genuinely amazed if you truly need a 63cm frame, but then again, it's more down to what feels right for you and how flexible you are. A pro rider at your height might even be thinking about a 58cm, let alone the 60cm.

Go for the 60cm !

Dear Teadrinker.

I have a felt FA which I think uses standard Felt geometry. I'm 6"2 1/2 and have 33 1/2" leg. I ride very comfortably a 58cm with 100mm stem. A 58cm has also a 58cm horizontal top tube so I would say you are possibly a 58cm and need to play with stem lengths.

I think the dimensions of most of the Felt frames are the same, except some of the more expensive carbon frames have a slightly shorter head tube to give a racier position.

Still looking into it and trying to find a dealer with a size in stock I can try.
