Guy selling specialized bikes/frames on ebay such as this http://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/e11051.m4 ... AGB%3A1123
Apparently he is a triathlete selling off unused bikes frames from his racing team, based in hertfordshire area
I'm interested in the type of bikes he is selling but wonder if it's too good to be true- anyone bought from him
Looking at the feedback history, all his sales have been private, which makes me suspicious

I bought a steerer cutter from him a couple of months ago - all good service and a nice product, but not sure whether I would be spending that sort of money on eBay (YMMV)0

All his sales? Go back a few months and there's loads of open ones.
Ebay is fine, just use common sense. Paypal will see protection. Cash? Fine, but turn up in person, get the serial number and get a receipt. My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

Yes he's emailed me and seems a genuine bloke- although I need to make a big saving to offset the lack of frame warranty....0 -

Good friend of mine bought a pinarello prince from him last year. Very genuine chap, if memory serves he if a policeman. His mate owns a bike shop, high end stuff that doesn't sell in the shop goes on the bay. I went to collect, guy has nice set up.0
