Stolen Specialized Hardrock and Rockhopper

My silver 2010 Specialized Hardrock Disc and my wife's 2011 red and white Specialized Rockhopper were both stolen late March from Center Parc's Elveden Forest.

    Thats a bummer!

    Is this common at Centre Parcs? Going to Sherwood Forest in the summer.

    When we went to Longleat a couple of years ago the bikes felt very safe but I guess it is no different to anywhere else...

    Will deffo be going kitted up with all the locks!

    Did they have any CCTV?

    Center Parcs security said it doesnt happen very often but police said it does, to be fair this is probably the 8th time we've been to one of the 3 parcs and this is the first time its happened. The only advice I can give is to use a D-lock (we had cable locks, though good ones) and bring the bikes into the villa at night.
    Have fun though.

    Typical - Centreparcs deny it ever happens because they dont want to ruin their trade...

    When did it happen - overnight?

    Thanks for the heads up anyway - will take extra precautions now.

    Yeah, between about 10pm and 7am
