I'm aware there are all kinds of "hack" ways of doing this – I didn't know that there were any straightforward applications for normal people. But then, I haven't looked for a while. Which do you recommend?0 -

You still have to use 3rd party software though. One of the reasons I never bought an iPod is that you can't just drag and drop between folders.0 -

You miss the point. It's the ability to simply drag and drop between the PC and the Ipod that is the problem. Syncing is a faff. Not an insurmountable one, but a faff nonetheless. When you are familiar with straightforward (and easier) drag and drop, why pay top dollar for a brand identity with restricted functionality.0
