Stevens bikes

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone here has a Stevens bike? I was looking at the xenon in the LBS, and it is particularly nice looking, especially with the white saddle/bar tape. It's also very light. It comes in around the £2k mark with ultegra. It's not the worst price in the world, but it is a lot of money to spend on a brand that I haven't really heard of. Apparently they have been around for 20 yrs, but it's a bit strange that there are so little reviews/info on the net!

They're very well known in the cyclocross world, Niels Albert rides one. Germany bike brands don't seem to get good distribution over here (Canyon, Et al)0
-
I contacted them last year but they have no UK stockists and no plans to enter the UK market, which is a shame as the SLR frameset is rather nice0

They stock them here in Ireland, although I dont like the idea of paying 2.5k on a bike that I can't really find that much info/reviews/pictures on!0

cyclelogical in dublin seem to have a good enough range of them0

They are a long established brand and they have a good pro team - they get decent reviews in the German press (assuming googletranslate is correct!!)
Just watch out for availability issues. Apparently Specialized took them to court in the States over the trademark 'S', which has meant that recent batches have had delivery delays due to alterations needed to the paint jobs.0
