Hand pain

I picked up my new Cadd8 last weekend and only got out on it yesterday and today. Only done 20miles so far but today more so i had quite a lot of pain in my hands. I was wearing gloves. I feel my saddle has to come up but don't have a lot of experience of making adjustments to riding positions. I have been watching some videos on YouTube about bike fittings.
Is there anywhre i could go locally to get a proper bike fitting.
I stay in Inverclyde, Scotland by the way.

I have only worn the gloves twice, they were recommended to me by someone on another forum. I seem to be leaning too far forward and putting too much stress on my hands. Think my saddle needs adjusted, don't know if it needs to go forward or up slightly.Bazinga !!0

if there gel gloves, they take a little while to "mold" where you want them to be. might need to move the saddle forward a bit, i had the same on my bike couldnt reach the bars properly so i gripped the bars funny=hand pain. moved forwards gripped properly=all good0

A proper bike fit or getting someone with experience to watch you ride, would be useful.
Saddle position is for your knees, stem adjustment is for your reach.
If this is your first bike it may just be you need to get used it it all, or it may be the stem is too long and low.
Get the saddle/knee position right first, then move on to the stem. if possible, flip it over so it points upward, if there is space, move the stem up.
If that doesn't help, you may need a shorter stem.--
