15mm or 20mm QR

I have recently buckled ny rim and I am looking for a replacement.

Not sure if I have a 15mm or 20 mm QR thru axle. I measured the diameter and its only 5mm. What am I doing wrong ?

What fork and hub is it?

sounds like a standard Qr hub. neither 15 or 20mm

so standard QR why such a difference from 15mm or 20mm ?

You can't change. You have quick release forks.

I am looking to get a stronger rim than the cross ride mavic.

know any custom wheels that may be a better option for a standard QR ?

Try Merlin cycles. Depending on your budget and weight, I'd look at XT hubs and Mavic 719 rims, or 721 rims for extra strength.
