Are these pedals any good? They look lethal for the shins, but at the same time they look like they could be grippy

I have a set: are tough, can take a lot of whacks. Grip is ok, not as good as say the MG1, but with the right shoes do a good job.

Outland's Kustom Slim pedals grip even better than the slim jims. They're the same body, but use slightly longer pins......
