Bike Position

Hi all,
Check out the video here of my bike position:

Please comment on improvements! I think my stem is too short (only 60mm). However I felt like I was reaching too far with my stock Giant stem.
Thanks
Pete

Saddle up a bit. Is it a good TT position you're after or good position on the hoods/drops?More problems but still living....0

I spend most my rides on the hoods and only do 1 10 mile TT per week. I'm going to be doing a lot of long rides in france over the summer too. Is there an "all round" position I could be in and tweak a bit for different things?
What do you think about the stem?
Thanks for the help0 -
Looks good Pete. A 60mm stem does sound a little small, any problems with stearing? Not much else you can do though if your top tube is slighlty long.
Like the way you straightened your jersey at the end of vid, just like the pros do before celebrating victory.Pinno, מלך אידיוט וחרא מכונאי0 -
I'm going to go back to my old 10cm or whatever it is I think. I felt really "compact" and hunched on a quick ride just now.
Steering is a nightmare with crosswinds coupled with my bladed spokes and 3cm rims
I feel quite embarrassed about the jersey straightening now... didn't do it deliberately!0 -
Anyone want a Deda Zero 1 Oversize Road Bike Handlebar Stem? (60mm) lol £18
(brought for 20)0 -
You don't look too compact on the video, maybe try the saddle up slightly as suggested and see how the reach is then. By all means try the 100mm stem but don't worry if you need something shorter.
Good luck.Pinno, מלך אידיוט וחרא מכונאי0 -
saddle up an inch. might want to flip the stem up unless you're TTing0
