What headset for felt compulsion 2 ?????

I have a felt compulsion 2 I took the forks off and saw the bearings might need changing in the headset but Im new to MTB and I'm not quite sure what the right headset is to buy from what Ive seen I need a 1. 1/8 cane creek integrated but I got one off EBay and it didnt fit , well it fitted the actual headset but it didnt fit the fork was too big PLZ HELP, Ive got the old bearings and that back in but theres a bit of play if I hold the front brakes

    have a look in the FAQs for info in internal and integrated. info. there is also info on the new standards in there.

    O have a read of the info on Parktools.

    Pics of your actual problem would be good as it is hard to understand how they fit the frame but not the forks.
