changing chainset, chain line question

Hi all

I am considering changing my FSA vero compact chainset to a Tiagra compact 4550, this means replacing the standard JIS square taper BB with the Tiagra Hollowtech 2 BB.

I am wary that this is going to change my chain line, am I correct in thinking that I would likely only need to reset the front mech to account for this or are there other considerations?

There probably will not be much difference in the chain line so you should not have to reset much. Just lower the mech for the 50 ring and check the limit screws and indexing. Fine tune as needed. Job done.
