Hi There
I have just refitted my Rockshox totem 1.5" to 1.1/8" steerer (bottom to top reducer steerer) forks back into my Turner and I have also changed the headset from the original cheapy versions it came with to a ChrisKing one. The issue is that the bottom base plate does not sit flush with the forks, where there is approximately a 10mm gap between the headset base plat and the fork plate.
Is this a common issue or have I just installed something incorrectly (cant think what)?
Thanks for any help (I would upload a pic but I am not sure how to!!)[/url]

sounds like you have not fitted it correctly.
the crown race is an interference fit and does need hitting on.
but pics would be good to confirm that this is the issue."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
