Lockout not working

The lockout on a brand new set of Suntour XCR forks isn't working. Don't know why, it didn't work out the box. Anybody know what might be wrong? Is it likely to be a big fix? Annoyingly it's a whole new bike, purchased through mail order so returning it isn't going to be too easy.

    Lockout will not completely stop all the movement of your forks, my RS Tora's still move when locked out, not as much but they do move.

    I'm not sure about your XCR but I'm guessing these will be the same, can you notice any difference at all ?

    Nope no difference between lock on and off. I know you tend to get a bit of movement, and the forks will run into the travel if you really whack them on a bump. This just doesn't change the suspension at all.
