Two very unusual road frames.....

Spotted on ebay. The first must be the oldest road bike with suspension I've ever seen:

It has a shocker in the top tube and maybe in the seatstays too (hard to tell). Why you'd need suspension with a saddle like that I don't know :-)

Second is more modern but just as rare:

Look at the chainstays, they split into two parts around the middle. I don't see the point in that at all. Can't see it making much positive difference to power transfer or road noise absorption.
