Hello everybody.
I have had somebody offer me a swap for each others bike and i am just wondering if it is a fairish swap or not.

My bike is a on one inbred 18"
ss and carbon forks
raceface finishing kit.
bontrager big earl cranks.
hayes stroker ryde and trail 160 disks.
goldtech draco hubs on mavic 717 rims.
Condition is pretty damn good tbh.

his bike is a on one pompino. 54cm so pretty much the same as my inbred.
its got planet x finishing kit except and charge seat.
wheels and cantis are both from planet x/ on one.
again the condition of his bike is fair but not amazing.

so what do you all think? or should i ask a bit of money from him?
cheers guys!

I would not do the swap.

    why do you say that?
  • i think the inbred is better spec'd and worth more, personally I wouldn't get rid of an inbred, I have one amongst others and think it's a great bike, I only use it for the occasional XC ride but I always have way more fun on it than anything else of it's nature.

think is i already have a race xc bike and was looking for a cross bike, so should i be asking for a better spec'd cross bike.
how much would you say the inbred is worth?

  • I've just looked at the pictures linked in the original post, and the gears all seem to have fallen off.
I'd sell both of them and save up for a proper bike.
