.....And noticed a small crack in the outer shell.

So time for a new one methinks, looking for suggestions arounf the £100 mark, I do like the Kask K50, but cant find one to try on anywhere around here.

Soooo, any ideas?

Hi Squillinossett, there's a good helmet review in C+ this month if you haven't got it already. The LAS Victory comes out tops and looks to be in your price bracket so it might worth trying on, if you can find it.

This will give you lots of self-explanatory info;including the fact that the more expensive helmets will give no more impact protection than the cheapest ones which surely must be the most important factor?
Anyway, what about the LAS Squalo@£58 or the Met Forte@£45, both have been praised on this Forum recently.

I bought a Giro Prolight the other day from Fudges, for £89.99

    absolutely untouchable deal, IMHO...

EDIT: £94.99 now, but still a bargain. Click here

    a) that's not true, there are a couple of standards and the helmets can still pass if they dramatically exceed the test specifications.

    b) if you're looking at expensive helmets then you're probably not just looking to protect your head, ventilation and weight probably have significant interest to you as well.

    Ended up ordering a K-10 in red/white!

the Pro lights look great value, but the style fails to exite me.

    Cheers guys
