hi all

can anyone recommend a good shoe for TTs, that is a 4 bolt cleat design (speed play), as ive had enough of the base plates after 3 years and want to replace it on my TT rig.

Priority is

1. 4 bolt cleat design
2. stiff carbon sole for power transfer
3. Weight

I've seen lake do a shoe for triathlons , the CX330c, but its chunky at 300g :(

cheers

Lake CX401, CX236, CX311 or custom spec Bont shoes are the only others that come to mind. BTW the CX330 is not the tri shoe - that's the 311.

DMT shoes (at least their better models) can be had with 4 bolt soles for Speedplay pedals as well. Might have to be ordered in from somewhere, but if you find the model and size you like that shouldn't be too difficult.

so far ive found these shoes

    Lake CX330 - 300g
    Lake CX401 - 270g (Has mouldable foodbeds)

DMT Prism - 250g (I think this may be wrong as ive seen reviews mention 290g)
    DMT Radial - 255g

Bascially looking for power transfer and low stack heigh, can anyone comment on the above?

The radial seems a good choice but has old velcro straps not the new boa style tightening (which i do like)

Coming from a few year old sidi 2s, anyone can compare for me?

    Cheers
