    They came across terribly on that "back to basics" programme they did. I've always quite liked Sue Perkins, and had a grudging respect for Giles: he swears well, at least. But it's hard to maintain in the face of the desperate imbecility on display in that show (whatever it's called).

    Its amazing that coren comes over a such a t**t on tv , yet he writes a fair restaurant review column in a broadsheet paper on saturday , as for perkins whats she got to be smug about ??? - as to giles sister - sexy and brainy - lovely :lol:

    Yes he's angry in that letter. Although I'm not sure anything therein constitutes smugness, I would agree he should have checked himself before getting carried away on the old Remington.

    Yes but I like the advert for Sky News where Adam Boulton just wanders aimlessly about the set like a doddery old man. Makes me laugh.
