I parked this in my living room when I got it home and forgot I had a TV for days
First ride was Cwm Carn, and it was epic.

if that rides a tenth as well as it looks, that will be a stormer!

    mega looking bit of kit!
  • Was out on the trails, and a guy was out riding one of them a couple weeks ago. He stopped and had a chat, and agreed to switch bikes for a KM through some of the tracks to give me a chance to ride it.

Very very very capable bike, and damn sexy to boot.

    Nice purchase man!

Thanks guys - first time I've owned a FS, so it was a revelation out on the trails! It's a much stealthier paintjob than some other Cubes I've seen out and about, which I like.

Only thing I'm wondering about is the tyres - I keep hearing mixed reviews of the Fat Alberts, and I wasn't overwhelmed by them at Cwm Carn until I let a lot of air out.

Back to Coed-y-Brenin this weekend, where it will get a good thrashing!

Yeah the patterns (particularly side knobbles) are different from front to back, but the rotational arrows say they're fitted correctly..

WICKED! I notice you also went for the rear shock guard - mine cost me £35 and didn't even get any bolts to fit it lol.
I like that finish too - they had one of each left in the shop - spent ages trying to decide but figured not that many people would have a black one, and it'd be easier to clean

I actually find it eaier to clean than my anodised Reaction...

I had to buy the guard too, bit of a rip off imo but it sort of works. Although this is my summer bike :) (yes I am a tart)

I happen to know a shop that will give you a FOC shock guard, with bolts!

You do have to buy a Cube FS bike to get the freebie though ;)

Any pics? That's what I was after - the Team looks top notch, but when I called in at LeisureLakes they had two of these 2010 models left for nearly the same price..!
