This is my new singlespeed project, just completed today and rides really well (after tinkering with the chain tension!). It's 50/50 in terms of new/second hand components, as follows;

Stem : Ritchey (2nd hand)
Bars : Ritchey rizer (2nd hand)
Grips : Clark lock on (new)
Wheels : Ritchey, from a boardman comp (ebay)
Tyres : Ritchey something or other (new)
Front brake : Clarks skeletal hydraulic (new)
Rear brake : Clarks skeletal hydraulic (new)
Seat : Brev 'M' (new)
Seat post : Giant (2nd hand)
Seat clamp Giant (2nd hand)
Chain set : unbranded 32t ring (2nd hand)
BB : 'Chin haur, from a carrera. (2nd hand)
