Hi i am looking to get a new bike this summer.

I started off last year on a Trek 1.2 C but want to upgrade. i have been drawn towards the Trek Madone 5.2. what other options would people recommend? the Trek is around £2800

Cheers

See what Cannondale you can get for that money. Treks seem to be priced quite highly compared to them.

Are you just looking for a bike of similar geometry to the Trek or just price?

    I was looking at:

    Trek Madone 5.2
    Specialized Roubaix
    Colnago CLX 2.0
    Cervelo RS
    Scott CR1

Test rode them and bought the Scott.
    Mud - Genesis Vapour CCX
    Race - Fuji Norcom Straight
    Sun - Cervelo R3
Winter / Commute - Dolan ADX

Phil Corley in Milton Keynes. the best roadie shop in the area

Phil has been a Trek stockist for many years and knows his stuff. The shop is in Staceys Bushes.

I bought my Trek 5.9 from Corley's. Great bike fit system too. They sell all sorts of Italian and American exotica.

Another shop to try is Twenty3c in Stoney Stratford. They carry a different selection of bikes to Corley.
