And why not? If his route is anything like one of my routes I can take (long undulating straights for 15 miles following the coast, one big hill to go up, one long straight hill with no openings on either side to hit 45/50 mph down, barely no cars, literally 500 yards of busy traffic to the underground car park) then fair enough.
I tend to spend 80% faux aero - ie propped up on elbows on the tops of normal bars, balanced on the front of the seat running at 95% - blimmen' good workout and funny when you burn the all gear/no idea guys off.
Reality is though he probably bought it because he though it looked cool then realised that it was utterly impratical as an only bike. But that's just supposition.0 -
