I am in the process of building up an 09 remedy 8 frame using mainly remedy components a custom powder coat job and a few trick bits (will post some pics when bike is finished )
My question today is ........ Is it possible to mount one of the new DRCV fox shocks found on the 2010 / 2011 remedys on to a 2009 model??
on the 2009 the shock is a 2.25x8.00 and on the later models its a 2.25x7.75.
What effect will the smaller shock have?? will it alter the amount of rear supsension?? will it put unnessacerry stress on the frame?? is it worth it??

you need a shock with the same dimensions,
or you may have wheels contacting the fame or other frame linkage contact.
contact Mojo for the correct size Fox or TF for RS etc.."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

As a 2010 Remedy owner, all I can say is:
You've got no chance!
DRCV is mounted on the sides of the shock, rather than through a bushing. Not sure if there are adapters even available to make it fit.

TBH, if you're looking at the more extreme end of riding, stick a coil shock in it. If not, stick with the air shock.0
