The story goes like this:

Bought this bike in 1998. Was totally stoked. It still rides well, I'm still in love with it. If i remember well, it's a genesis (or so the stickers said).

Rediscovered it about two years ago, started cross-country-ing again, moved to Belgium. Decided it's time for a new bike, the current one being transformed into a commuter bike.

So after researching quite a while, I decided on a Charge Duster frame and found this beauty via ebay:

Now it's time to get the rest of the parts together :) I'd like it to be reliable, no-nonsense, not too expensive, robust.

After spending some time on this forum here, I think I'd go for some hand-built wheels (merlin cycles ok?). slx mix should be good enough (and everyone else has xt anyway :), not sure about brakes yet. can use a tora fork from a good friend who has just upgraded, and will see later this year if I'll take a reba or fox or something... this is about it, we'll see how fast this gets completed :) spring is here, so it shouldn't take too long.

thanks for your comments, much appreciated!
