With the royal wedding and May day bank holiday this weekend hs four days to it so plenty of time for riding. I'm hoping to get out at least twice possibly three times... Thinking something like:
:arrow: Friday - 70 miles into the Surrey Hills
:arrow: Saturday / Sunday - hoonfest (for those who don't know it a punchy 50 miles to Surrey and bk)
:arrow: Monday - someting a bit different - maybe a ride down to the south coast and geting the train back
As always newcomers are welcome and positively encouraged. Here's what to expect...
:arrow: 16-18 mph average - 20+ mph on the flat
:arrow: We'll wait at the top of hills to regroup
:arrow: A café stop - probably at the top of Box Hill
Who's up for heading out?
And who'd be interested in a Capital-Coast-Capital ride in June or July?

Right, I'm up for this. I think Saturday looks best weather wise, Sunday best hangover wise (getting through a royal wedding demands more than the odd shandy...)
So, despite the pull of sunshine, Sunday gets my vote. And, a hoonfest sounds perfect, although I may not by hooning anywhere.
Good work on getting the thread going btw - it's been a bit quiet of late.0 -

Good ride today with Berns and James. Sunday is still on 8:30 at Richmond Gate for anyone wanting to join us. Some talk of riding to Windsor for variety rather than the hoonfest - about the same effort just longer though flatter0
