Not too bad as first-days-back-at-work go but am freakishly hungry after 4 days hiking/biking. Could eat a whale omelette with chips right now.

Had a 16oz sirloin the other night - rare - with a mountain of chips, peas, onion rings, mushrooms and a garlic/mushroom sauce. It was immense.

Slept like a log. Woke up before alarm, came to into the office. Roads/tram were clear of people. Almost snuggled up on the sofa and fell asleep when I got here.

I also hate Blackberry devices. Writing software for them is like pulling teeth. Not the fun way on other people. On yourself. with Celine Dion on in the background.

I think my mind edited out this post on first read. I WANT YOUR STEAK! :D

I've spent most of the last week on a bike and I'm ravenous too. Probably psychological...

    Hmm...possibly :)

Personally I am just plain starving. Have had lunch and it didn't touch the sides. A call to the sandwich people is on the cards this afternoon they do an awesome bacon and sausage torpedo with fried egg.

Seriously want/need to go home now.

I have (since 9:30am) done approximately 15 mins work. :(

Now although I am not weird and want to be swamped, it's either feast or famine here, nothing going on at all which is making the day seem like an eternity :(

New bike is being delivered to the other halves, although I won't be able to get over there until Friday :~(

Oh well, some decent coffee is being brewed (our department are posh and we have a cafitierre (Sp?)

There are so many lunch options on the way back, I'm dribbling thinking of them.

I might have an ostrich burger.

I'm so bored today, just been to Coventry and back, the highlight of which was a pair of class 37s at international, that's how bad it was.

    Still milkshake time now
