What flippin gorgeous weather for riding!
Anyone who's seen me around probably knows I whinge alot about how crud Lincolnshire is... well I found a well developed DH spot.
The top tube stuff is of Stile Cop.

Nice vid not bad mate. Its a shame the on board video angles seem to "shrink" the trails down. It was only from the wide angle shots that you can really appreciate the size of the jumps and drops you were doing.
At first I was " I'd give that a go " then I saw the different angle shots and was "err maybe not"0 -
took me a bit of 'buiding up' but it's nicely made so smooth landings.0 -
it makes me realise how lucky i am where i live...i literally have a better DH track than that 2 mins from my house and i very rarely ride it cos there's so much other riding around.
not knocking you, it's a good video and you have to ride and work with what you've got 8) the rear angles do show that they're quite hefty drops some of them aswell
damn i don't want to move to lincoln (prays that i don't get a transfer to an office in lincoln )0 -
Looks great, but I'd spend more time getting off the bike and saying, "I'll do that one next time." :oops:0

Well you know the cliche 'it's better to have loved and lost than not to have loved at all'? I've lived in the massive mountain ranges of the Cascades, USA; North Wales and had Snowdon on my doorstep; and Yorkshire for propertrailridingike.... It's not better to have loved and lost at all
I'm aiming next time to get right to the tipity-top of that wall ride, a full 12feet up. It's the getting back down that's the problem.0 -
really wanna try that place. been to cannock once before and did the dog and the monkey, but never done the cop yet0

Really nice decents if you like drop-offs...
New Line and the Beginners trail are really sketchy in the dry. A lot of dust and root networks just let the front wheel wash out, but take you're biggest pair of bollocks, let rip on the rest of them and you'll find a lot of fun0 -
I first started to watch the vid and turned it off, I found the first shot along the crossbar too long, and you couldn't see where you were going, came bck to the thread, and read the comments. decided to give it another go..
about halfway through the vid it seemed you got into the editing a bit more and thought that half was superb..
well done! faster cuts makes for more interesting footage.. 8)Always remember.... Wherever you go, there you are.

Yeah I agee, the first shots of stile cop drag on a bit too long. Trouble is I remember the trails being awesome but the shot just doesn't convey that. I like the action of the fork but needs to be a short shot really. lesson learnt.0

Good effort - agree the vid makes the features look small - some of the Stile Cop bits you do are pretty daunting!0

Yeah, I tried adding in a bit of slows mo over the drops but that didn't really help. Too slow frame rate for that really. I'll get some variety of angles next time to improve stile cop footage0
