I used to. But I said that I'd take it off the day he retired (first time), which I did. I still see some people wearing them. I was sat next to a teenager wearing one at the football at the weekend.

I've still got a couple in their original packaging. Maybe they'll be worth something someday.

(I remember I had one before they were ubiquitous and wore it on holiday in Ibiza. They looked exactly like the bands that the all inclusive people had at a big local hotel, so it more than paid for itself.)

Sometimes.... more for my dad than for the tedious Texan. Shared passion for cycling, my dad is an ex- Manchester Wheeler, and is fighting cancer

I've never been enamoured of plastic bands around the wrist so don't wear them for any charity

I'm really not sure what the money raised is spent on, I know the stated aim is 'cancer awareness' but I don't see the output

It's a little like wrestling a gorilla. You don't quit when you're tired. You quit when the gorilla is tired.

Join the masses. It's a mystery, and not one I'm comfortable with. The distinction between Livestrong.com (profit) Livestrong.org (non-profit) and lots of other questions.

I don't see what wearing a rubbery yellow bracelet on my wrist has to do with cycling. It's not as if it makes me faster (just like this), and thankfully I've not had cancer.
Aspire not to have more, but to be more.

  • Yes, religiously. Its a fantastic charity.
Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it lasts forever.
  • Used to, but not anymore
I wear a Bikepure one instead
