Please can anyone help me choose between 3 Hardtails to replace a Specialized Hardrock Disc that was stolen.
I mostly do cross country and trails with occasional (non too scary) downhill, also need to put a child seat on the back occasionally (we have a CoPilot Taxi).
I'm looking at a Specialized Rockhopper, Cube Acid or Cannondale Trail SL3, also wondering if its worth spending the extra and getting the Specialized Rockhopper Comp, Cube LTD comp or the Cannondale Trail SL2 (the Cube is a bit cheaper, though have found a Cannondale Trail SL1 at a similar price to the other 2)
Any thoughts and advice would be much appreciated.

Also to add to this, what do people think of 29ers, Cannondale do one in my price range (ish) wondering if its worth it?0
