Turner Hall Farm, Seathwaite in Duddon Valley - smashing site, great pub down road and excellent biking!

http://www.baysbrownfarm.com/, we stayed here last year, v cheap, typical working farm, fantastic views, friendly young(ish) owners, shower/toilet block a bit agricultural/rugged but clean and plentiful hot water, no shop but village about 1/2 mile away and a burger/breakfast van came on site when we were there, we didn't use it but it smelled nice!

I think it was £13.50 per night, large tent, 2 adults, + a 13 and a 7 year old, bargain!
  • Hi. Me and my girlfriend stayed at Low Wray campsite a couple years ago which is a national trust one. Was a really nice site on the edge of a lake and by Wray castle which is worth a look. Here is the website, can't remember prices but was definitely reasonable as we were both students at the time

Nice small site, pub next door and a river running through the site, bery idyllic if you into fishing you can also fish in the river for a small fee.
