Hi all, I've recently bought a BC race licence, but as yet it hasn't arrived in the post. Can anyone tell me if the BC membership number and the race licence numbers are the same?
If they're different, what can I put on a race entry form in the licence number box, while I'm waiting for the licence to arrive?
Thanks in anticipation!

  • Your BC membership number is the same as your license number.

Also if you ring up British Cycling they can email you a temporary license you can use until your proper license comes through the post. I did this last week. BC were very helpful.
  • Thanks very much! I'll give them a ring.

Also note that your licence will be sent to your Club Secretary. You might want to check with them to see if they got it.

Not always - I got mine direct this year but in other years it's gone to the club secretary. Maybe BC think I can be trusted to pay my club subs now I am Club Treasurer?
