Does anyone know if I can use a Scram power link with Shimano chain, if not is there an alternative?
I asking because I've used one and now chain seems to jump, its correct speed link.
Thanks Colin.

Yes, they work. Do you maybe have a stiff link? Is it a new chain?0

you can use a powerlink, but i think from what i have read, a KMC quick release link specifically for a shimano chain works better.0

Thanks chaps, cant find a stiff link.
Chain about six months old.0 -
Have no issues on any of our bikes running Shimano chains with SRAM powerlinks (4 nine speed and 3 eight speed)
Skipping could be chain/cassette wear or indexing not quite right (inc bent items) of course.
