Brake block advice

My brake blocks are coming to an end and wanted to get an idea from the forum as to what would be a suitable replacement. I've used the searh function but to no success. What are generally considered the best choice? I appreciate everyone has their own opinions, so it's just a general idea.
Any help gratefully appreciated.

Two options,
Swisstop & koolstop salmon
I have used both and prefer swisstop, not a hge diff, but i can tell, and the greens dont cost a huge amount more (£30 for two pairs over £20 ish) bearing in mind these are what you rely on to stop you, money well spent IMO.0 -
I switched from Dura ace to green Swisstop. They have been great both in terms of stopping power and durability. These are for aluminium rims, not carbon.

What he said. Running a pair of both at the moment, very little difference. Both good.Pinno, מלך אידיוט וחרא מכונאי0 -

As above really. Moved from Campag to Koolstop because they appeared cheaper
than the SwissStop but I then realised the prices were for a pair compared to 4.
Will put some SwissStop greens on for the summer...and some Pyrenean descents.0 -
Running koolstop salmons at the moment and they were a big improvement over the standard fit ones0

i'm in the same boat at the minute and need a pad that can stop my 18 stone mass much better than standard ultegra blocks.
i was going to get the swissstop green pads:

but then i saw these and thought they look and sound very good. does anyone have any experience with them?
