Monks Trod Rhayader

Has any body ridden the Monks Trod from claerwen resevoir over the hills to the Aberystwyth mountain road? is it rideable because of the 4x4 drivers who have used it. Or would it be better ridden the other way.Any feed back would be great.
Ride bike, eat cake, drink tea, ride bike, eat cake, dri...........

    Havnt ridden it lately but it was always better from the mountain road to the Claerwin ,Clive Powells shop in Rhyader should be able to give you latast info.
