    Morning benders

Revision filled day again today, will find some time to admire the bike, maybe even ride it.

No baconz in the house this morning, not impressed, will have cereals for breakfast instead, assuming there's milk, which I didn't check. If there's no milk then I'll have ice cream because I know there's plenty of that in the freezer.

    Morning tossers

and good morning everyone else too

back at work, and decided that, as a county the west midlands is decidedly less picturesque than Pembrokeshire.

Plan for today is wolves > brum > wolves > brum > Walsall .> brum > lichfield > brum > longbridge > brum > wolves > home, with a break in thr middle for starbucks

then perhaps some fettling, but more likely a bit of sorting house out today

    Morning wasters.

Lazy day today as the doctor ordered. Will pick up some supplies from the shops, grab a massive coffee in the town then maybe slob in the garden for a bit.

Was up at 7, out for my usual 5k cross run with a stop at the assault course thing, back in time for Top Gear on Dave, now just waiting for etch primer to dry on my new lowers before flatting down and starting to build up colour coats. Then off to the park for a kickabout with the boys and to look at girls with not many clothes on. All good!

    Morni.... afternoon!
:D No work till May 3rd wooooooooo!!

Stupidly I've agreed to take part in a concert tonight, so I have a rehearsal later this afternoon. Sucks big time. However, I'm then off to the pub, with a girl I'm counting my chances with 8)

Anywho's, it's sunny, so I'll make the most of it. S'laters!

I'm meant to have gone in for 2 days next week, but I've made my minion come in instead. Delegation is AWESOME!!! :D

I'd try stayin off till the 9th, but to be honest, I'd have so much work when I came back, it wouldn't be worth it

A day that started with bacon should never get as bad as this - been in the office upstairs studying whilst outside is cracking the flags

Now if my mechanic has fixed my road bike I see a long 35 mile commute on the singlespeed MTB tomorrow followed by a few hours work then fly back on the road bike to Sandon Races to join the family

    Epic fail today..
Had pasta for breakfast then ending up going to Halfords to get Thule fittings for the Focus as I already have Aerobars and 591 carriers. Used the flipchart guide effort, went to the "Thule guru" at H'fords and he confirmed the right part for the job. All in £104

Took the parts home, assembled accordingly, then took the covers off the roof fittings on the Focus and alas... no holes in the roof recesses to bolt the foot of the roofrack in place.
Packed everything back in the boxes and headed back to H'fords armed with my receipt.

Got hold the of Thule Guru who was a little surprised when I informed him they don't fit.
He went to the H'fords computer, took my registration number, punched it in and apparently the parts are correct. He came out, had a look and confirmed the parts supplied will not work.

Get refund, but Halfords brand "professional series" boot mount, take it home, read the instructions, put it together and mount it.
Designers never take FS bikes into consideration when designing these things. The probably work for straight top bar hardtails but the FS bike took some working out

With the aid of some bungee cords I got the bike on solid. Also wrapped a KruptoFlex cable around the bake to the carrier and padlocked it.. this is Stoke after all.

Got to Cannock for 14h30, started to ride and felt very hungry after 10 minutes with stome grumbling.. fail.. no energy. I gobbled an energy bar en route but plodded around with zero energy left in me after 5 miles or so.
Finished the ride, loaded up and head for home..
