I can't, I've just left newgale beach and I'm about to head back to Wolverhampton :( I definately do need a hug now!

Anyone want to lend me money to open a bunkhouse here?

Fuck you all I'm working! I'm the only manager who didn't book these 11 days off and who knows what carnage is going to happen?

  • I have decided I'm going to blame you for the worst ride of the year, possible of teh EvAr!!!!!!

Even though the legs were not working at ALL this evening (felt like riding with the brakes on), I thought I'd try a new track I'd seen on some sat images.

It was TERRIBLE, a proper chore, mostly hike-a-bike and it brought me out about 200m further down than I thought, meaning I had to ride along one of the fastest parts of the TT course, on a VERY busy evening with bikes zipping past at 150mph+
After I'd removed the shlt from my pants, I decided to cut things short and drop down a rocky track I sometimes use. About 100m down, the sidewall tears and dumps sealant out everywhere.
After wiping out the tyre, I stuck in a tube.
Another 100m or so further down, and the valve on the tube tears.
Had to push the remaining 5mi back to my house.

Now I've got to buy another Tyre.

Wish I'd just stayed home and got drunk!

    *mumbles to self*
  • Oh I've been stung by nettles too.

    That's your fault too.

I predict a weekend of me being stuck on a motorway tring to get to my cousins wedding in Leicester and getting a major flat on monday when i can get out and ride
What if your dreams and fears existed in the same place? What if to get to heaven, you had to brave hell? What if everything you've ever wanted cost you everything you've ever achieved? Would you still go there?
  • I'll be working all the bank holiday tomorrow, all weekend, and the other bank hol on Monday.
  • Last day of exams was yesterday, so finally got a bit of holiday for now.

Took the wife down to Vienna to the Zoo, had a beautiful afternoon there, then went to a massive japanese buffett for dinner. Train ride home resulted in a bit of a power nap, and then came home, did some "business" and went to sleep after a nice long chat. Such a lovely day. Perfect way to start off my long weekend (until 2nd may).

Now if only my forks would hurry the fuck up and get back!

Just in from Innerleithen, which was really rather pleasant. Though it still feels weird to be on the dh trails when it's not covered in mud.

Just pi$$ed it down here too. Been great all day here (while I've been stuck at work) then we just had about 10min of really heavy rain and it's fine again now.
