Swapping Cranks?
puzzle

A collegaue has a Boardman Comp (Shimano 105 rear and Shimano Tiagra front derailleurs) with a 50/36 front ring which is a Truvativ (SRAM crank).
Question is can he put on the crank and front rings from a Boardman Carbon (SRAM Rival) to make it 50/34 at the front or just swap the front rings?
I am guessing he won’t need to adjust or re-index the gears if this is carried out?

Just fit a smaller inner chainring - nothing else to worry out!Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

you need the bottom bracket as well to fit it. otherwise it will work.0
