Tools, tools, tools...for BB (or complete toolkit)... Help!

OK, I want to switch from my current FSA BB & Chainset to a Hope BB & SRAM Chainset.
Whenever I try to do anything on the bike I never have the right tools... Anyone with any guidance on what's needed for the above job?
And while we are talking about tools... I'm wondering whether I should just 'bite the bullet' and spend a huge sum of money on a complete toolkit (or just all the tools I need in one go), as I seem to go through this exercise everytime I want to do something.
Any recommendations? Obviously don't really require the basics, just the specialist bike tools. Or is it just easier to buy a bike specific set so that they are all on one place?
Note that I currently have.... (in addition to the basics)
- Cassette removal tool (whip & lockring tool)
- Torx (& Allen keys)
- Chain Splitter
Thanks
