Hi All,

Some advice required! Just built a singlespeed MTB:

Surly 1x1 frame
Rockshox Reba SL forks
Avid Juicy 5 203mm brakes
Whyte stem
Ritchey bars
FSA carbon seatpost
Halo combat wheels with shimano hibs
Sram chainset with Shimano BB

The wheels are standard cassette type wheels with QR hubs and skerwers. However, I think I am going to need to convert the rear hub to use a 10mm axle and track nuts.

Any advice on this, will it be okay with QR skewers? I can add chain tugs.....but not sure....

Any advice/experience gladly received.

well the shimano hub is easily converted to a nutted axle.

but see how it goes. any issues will be more noticeable with such oversize discs.
