I took every ones advice on the grips and got the oversized superstar ones for £8.99, firstly they are an absolute bargain. got them in techno lime green with black lock rings. just wondering what people think to how they look??

Nope you asked how they looked and I gave you my honest opinion. If you just want people to say nice things so your somewhat fragile sounding ego is not shattered then specify that only kind comments are wanted.
If it makes you feel better, comment from my son was 'awesome', and he also mentioned that I was being nasty.
So there you go, one sh1t, one awesome, guess it evens out.

Yeah but I'm not adopting you. One is enough expense and hassle.

Can't see the pics, but if we're talking the Excels, they feel mahoooossssive compared to the Supergripa. Both fatter and wider. Really comfy, and I'm expecting them to last a bit longer too.

    Source: I've got both :P

Edit: Mine are black & red. My bro has just got the techno lime supergripas.. they're umm.. not for everyone!!
  • All this over some 8.99 grips, lulz.

I'm colourblind so i think they look fecking awesome.

I'm not a fan of green personally, but I can see how they match the decals on the frame... :?

    Super star components,

There bigger length and dia wise Which is good.

I got them in the "random" colour to go with the lime green on the rest of the bike

Looks like I'll have to order up some black excels to fit my spades a bit better, always found with the standards my hands will touch both lock rings and can be uncomfortable for long rides.

Got to love SSC for being able to buy just the grips or just the lock rings, cheap way of pimping up a bike! + Haribo
