hydraulic fluid?

what will do as a substitute for Shimano Hydraulic fluid?

have some bio-oil that is a similar colour - will that work OK?

otherwise have been advised that regular hydraulic jack fluid is OK - can anyone offer advice - i'm a way away from any decent bike shops so may have to revert to Garage supplies....

    CRC sell Weldtite stuff. Cheap and it's delivered.

    citroen power steering fulid or soeting like that is menat to be equivlent of the shimano mineral oil; google for it as I canot remember the exact stuff :cry:
