A fair description. It's a bit like everything nowadays - a bit useful and a bit annoying.
You'll get a lot of recruitment consultants contacting you if you make yourself "discoverable", and I've had some decent interviews from a few. However, they will also bother your other contacts if you become linked - so beware!
I've also managed to hook up with some old friends and alumni which have been quite useful.Giant Escape R1

Useful for recruiting/recruitment people.
Also useful for keeping ones CV up to date and contacts that are useful....I look at it once a month, if that.0 -

I find it annoying; my freelance business is on there but it's been hijacked by hundreds of people claiming to work for me. Talked to LinkedIn and they say there's nothing that they can do.0

Haha, you get the junior monkey to do it instead? :P0 -
Yep, I do. Don't check it every day, though.FCN 2-4.

Yep. Didn't you want a new job? We could do with some new cannon fodder.... Nah just joking. I've doing this for 10 years but I'm not afraid of getting my hands dirty. I very much believe that if something needs doing it's often easier to do it yourself than try to explain it to a monkey!Do not write below this line. Office use only.0
