Good Morning benders

I'm up early, and slightly hungover. Funeral went ok yesterday, good to see the church was literaly overflowing with people and the service was really nice.

Went out for a few drinks after, then went off to Cannock where I rode straight into a tree  this was followed by a few more drinks, and then a few more drinks when we heard Newcaslte hadn't been thrashed.

Slightly hungover, my shoulder seems quite bruised too. Revision today, new wheels are scheduled to be delivered so I'll be staying in anyway for those.

What are you 'orrible lot up to?

glad everything went well at the funeral, people should always have a good send off!

right then my house is nearly packed and ready to move, i just want to move now not in 7 days!

Mrs-to-be is scared about leaving her mates, she has lived with them for 8 years now so i suppose its a massive then - i just dont get it, i'm obviously jst a cold hearted individual!

weather turned out nice again, pity i am sat in am office, with no riding in the offing for the next few days!

Last day of work for 2 weeks for me, wahoooooo!!! Hopefully off to Coed-y-brenin sometime too, which should be amazing. I've not been to a trail centre yet, so really looking forward to it.

However, the downside is that i'm building a 6' fence around my garden over the 2 weeks off, and I have no idea how to do it, haha! I'm sure i'll cope, but there wil be a lot of head scratching :(

    morning dirtbags!

And what a fine morning it is I could get used to this weather. Phenomenal turn out on the Chase last night, good to see so many people biking in a vest, trackie bottoms and walking boots - and that was just the women hahaha *ahem*

    Have a good one!

Pedaled into work for my physio appointment. Hmm, Mountain Kings, a most wanderous tyre - as in 'the f*****s wander everywhere'. I'm going back to Z-max's.

Now down to the workshop to discover if my robot/death-ray combo really has fritzed 30k euros of optics. That'll please the bossman. It's his brithday, too

    Morninks

All went well at the hospital yesterday, so today I shall be sitting in the garden/tidying the house. Just for a change I'll be wishing I could be out on my bike.

    Hump day!

Boring day of finishing jobs that should of been done months ago by other people, but they cant cope so i've been drafted for the rest of the week :?

bike riding will be achieved later on this evening tho, so something to look forwards to at least (looks whistfully out of the window, dreaming of dry, dusty trails).

Morning all, I have been sitting at work for the best part of 2 hours and I am still wondering when procrastination will give way to productivity....doesn't look like it will be any time soon!

Morning all up since 4.30 thanks to a f**king blackbird sat on the gutter ourside the bedroom window.

Made a big decision today not to go for promotion and stick with what I know best. If i'd been successful and taken the job my work ethic would probably have caused more harm than good!

Good Morning All, today shall be spent not doing much. Going to a carvery for lunch though, then working tonight.

Bit miffed though as a old injury seems to have come back to haunt me, brufen and knee supports to the rescue!

Last night was spent supping cider and whisky stood outside a pub, soaking up a really nice evening so head is a bit fuzzy this morning. Coffee is helping and a calorie filled lunch should just about get me right again. And today's my last day in the office this week 8)

Another new one?! (Or has the Stumpy been somewhere)?

    Morning all,

It's dead at work today, which is nice, so cue a lot of 'meetings'... by meetings, read wandering outside for 15 minutes to catch some rays :)

The Enduro was making some strange sounds this morning though, can't quite figure out what they are, but I'm guessing the pedal bearings are shagged.. time for some new ones.. more bling! :D

    Have a good one x

City link just pulled up outside. I'm so excited, I hope he has wheels for me!!!

The rest of the day will involve a little revision and a lot of admiring the bike.

EDIT: It is them, what's even nicer is that they're pro 2 evos, I was expecting the standard old pro 2s.

I've heard good things about those.. lol, can't justify a separate commute bike myself, I only live 10 mins from work, my Speccy Enduro just about gets me there!

Anywhoo, sitting on a fense watching the work world crumble around me, looks like i'm the only dumbass manager working over the easter period, while the world and its wife bugger off and enjoy them selfs and leave the big snowball of sh1t gather speed waiting to hit over easter weekend!

I'm so late I reckon I may actually be early.

I can catagorically say though, I ain't doing that commute on a regular basis. A14, thick fog and tw@ts with no lights = road rage.

Decent day at work though, despite a delivery of strange tyres.

    Love n hugs
