Garmin Upgrade

Any know if you can upgrade a Garmin to newer model or any shops offering trade-ins? Or do you simply have to buy a new one and flog the old one on e-bay?

    I'd guess you'd get more selling it on ebay than any trade-in scheme anyway.

    SO what is a slighty broken Edge 305 with HRM going to go for on Ebay?

    Down button is broken, it doesn't beep anymore and HRM keeps loosing connection and won't reconnect with a reboot.

    Tempted to send it back to Garmin for £68 refurbishment then flog that but I don't know what I would get.

    Might just put up with it till Xmas then get an 705.

    Hmm, ebay it and see, but be honest about the condition. Very much doubt you'd get your extra £68 back if you got it refurbished though.

    If you're happy to wait till xmas then get an 800 cos the price will no doubt be circling the £250 mark by then - you can get them for £275 from Handtec right now...
