    Glad problem has been solved but I would be tempted to replace a 6 year old router at the first sign of trouble, You can get a new 'N' standard device for less than £40 that will give grive greater range, reliability, connectivity to more devices, security and potental speed improvements (up to about 10 times faster)
    Nobody told me we had a communication problem

    I had to do this for the iPhone 4 and iPod touch. Trouble is a couple of weeks later I had to change to a different channel. And every 2-4 weeks. Thing is PS3, Wii, N95, Desire, 5+ laptops with a variety of adapters all work fine without problems, only Apple products have problems on my network.
    I used to just ride my bike to work but now I find myself going out looking for bigger and bigger hills.

    if still having problems you could look on the netgear website and see if you can update the firmware, might resolve some of the issues
