Spend money on better groupset or better wheels?

I am looking for a new groupset and a pair of wheels.
Would you pay an extra £200(ish) for Utegra over 105, or
spend the extra £200 on wheels, eg £160 a pair or £360 a pair?
I know thats not a big buget on wheels but any advice at those prices would be great.
Thanks
Ian

Wheels -- they're going to make a lot more difference, especially since you've already got 105. After the frame, the wheels are the most important thing for performance. Lighter is great, but stiffer is greater, IMHO.
More zounds for the pounds.0 -
I agree. 105 is good enough and 105 plus a good set of wheels will make a bigger difference than Ultegra with subpar wheels.0

Wheels, for example you'll get Shimano RS80's for less than £360 and these will be noticeably better than wheels costing £160.
The difference between 105 and Ultegra is not much.0 -

Groupset.
Naaaaaaaw. Wheels natch!!!0 -
Wheels.
105 is good. Ultegra is a little more refined (in my experience takes longer to fall out of adjustment but that's about it).
£160 wheels - Meh. £360 wheels will be much stiffer, much lighter and generally much more fun.
And to answer your next question. Shimano RS80's.0 -
